I literally can’t think of a more useless market cap than Red Hats. I’m not saying it’s not worth it for IBM, but the companies who are paying RHEL to value them even at $20b is bonkers

Doubt ends well for IBM. But what else can they do? They are as irrelevant in new world as Oracle and RedHat is probably the only relevant asset for sale. IBM wasn’t going to end well without this and CEOs get paid more to try than manage for cash flow while the ice cube melts.
