Perhaps these people went to the restroom after him, or touched something like a rail immediately after him at a rest stop. Did they share a snack?

The most informative graphic I have seen so far. How COVID-19 spread on a 4 hr bus ride. The 4.5m distance is helpful for scale, but doesn’t account for interaction that took place. Would love to know what the person next to the carrier did right.
