The Uganda Manufacturers Association is coordinating the manufacture of masks by our members. UMA so far has 18 companies lined up to produce the said masks and is working to ready more manufacturers for this task. So far capacity stands at 1.12 million masks per day..
UGs🇺🇬 import bill of 2ndHand clothes was valued at Shs511b in 2016. This proves the opportunity this ban on used clothes presents for our local Manufacturers in the Textile sector. is confident our members will ably fill this gap as we fight #COVID19 #StaySafeUG
One of the key infrastructure for oil and gas is the refinery which will sit on 29sq km. This will host 2 anchor projects i.e; the refinery development and the Kabaale International Airport to facilitate exports of oil & agricultural products.
Our steel manufacturers visited the oil and gas fields in Hoima to assess the steel requirements that they could potentially supply.

• A total of 5,502 students (3,524- 64.04% male and 1,974- 38.96% Female) were recommended and trained from the companies.
