One of our tellers overheard someone say their friend wouldn't be able to get into their polling station due to a small step at entrance
I'm unsure whether there are provisions/contingencies in place for problems such as these, but would expect polling station staff to help

There's definitely an argument that the building should simply be accessible to begin with. There should never be any barriers to democracy.

Accessible definitely, (minimum needed to be compliant with law), going beyond by understanding what info needed etc would be even better
