.@gdri you may be interested. this exactly unused track also can be found in Dokuganryuu Masamune. Both games has the same music engine/data format, same as used in other ARC SYSTEM WORKS games for NES.https://twitter.com/new_cheats_news/status/1262839467817213954 …

http://forums.nesdev.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=115&p=250056#p250056 … Found for Dokuganryuu Masamune as well. I wonder if Shufflepuck Cafe, Hissatsu Shigoto Nin, Chiyonofuji No Ooichou has these tunes as well? The latter 3 seems to have a slightly modified version of the sound driver.

no games has this tune apart from those two. both games has opcode-exact apu code but at different locations. so it seems they both used the same apu libraries and this unused tune part of it maybe as test or example.

other games has different apu code but uses the same data format and script opcodes. hissatsu particulary uses extended version of engine and data format and thus incompatible with others.

Checked carefully all games that used the same notes length tables. There are two types of engines: an early and newer one. Here is the script for parsing the early apu scripts and inside is a list of games that uses it: https://github.com/g0me3/ida_stuff/blob/master/!idc/_scr_takeshi_no_sengoku.idc … newer engine need another parcer.
