4/ Something you may not be aware of: Most income-share programs sell their ISA contracts, to make money up front. SM does not.

5/ Why don't we sell our ISAs? When we first started, we were the world's only marketplace for peer-to-peer income-share agreements. Our contracts were too new and too weird to sell. Nobody wanted to buy them.

6/ So we did it the hard way, and financed everything ourselves. That means today, for every dollar we make, a mentee somewhere made $30. And also, for every dollar we make, a mentor somewhere got paid too.

7/ In other words: we only make money when our mentees get hired. And the fact we can afford to grow the team means our mentees are getting hired consistently and in large numbers. This is fantastic!

8/ In fact, SM has already unlocked an achievement that I believe is unique in the history of the income-share industry: We're a profitable ISA company, that got here without any external financing. To the best of my knowledge, nobody else has ever done this.
