Jeff Lichtman's group has also successfully sectioned and imaged mm-scale tissue volumes, using multiSEM (vs TEMCA at Allen Institute). I've now seen two mm-scale datasets from mouse cortex and two from human cortex acquired using these different pipelines. Wow.

It really feels like we're seeing exponential growth in the imaging and reconstruction rates for EM data sets.
