Jeff Lichtman's group has also successfully sectioned and imaged mm-scale tissue volumes, using multiSEM (vs TEMCA at Allen Institute). I've now seen two mm-scale datasets from mouse cortex and two from human cortex acquired using these different pipelines. Wow.
