If only there was a platform that let people post short pieces of text. Maybe only a few hundred characters. Maybe a couple of picture. That people should add specific, let's call them "tags", so people could find topics...

imho twitter is big enough that I think this can lose something. But maybe a dedicated slack? also physically (virtually) seeing someone matters a lot

I think having local viewing conferences make a lot of sense. For example everyone in the NYC area gets in one place to watch and discuss. Not a complete solution, but helpful
