First thing I've created in weeks due to world-induced badbrain. Been rewriting my billion year old fanfiction recently to gently get myself back into being creative & made this cover

It's been a little while, but I'm still around. It's been difficult to create lately because of what we're all going through, but it's good to catch up! Unsurprisingly I've been paining dolphins & orcas, when I can kick the creative faucet enough for a few drops!

I'm not giving up. I'm trying still, & I'm working on what I can do, creating, learning new skills & refining what I can do but I am just lost for how to improve THIS. How can I make myself a stronger applicant? Are my cover letters too long? Is my CV too much?

Anyone able to point me to some folks who look over CVs & game applications? I'm told by folks that my work is good & ought to have "no trouble" landing studio positions, but I must be doing something wrong. Because places can't give feedback on applications, I'm stabbing blind.

I get the idea too that if a studio took me on in that capacity, I'd be able to move into the modelling department over time, & my skills in both help me improve overall. I'd love to do rigging for a job. I'm fascinated by the whole process!

It's probably a weird thing to enjoy because it's not "the sexy" job like the modelling & texturing is, but I really enjoy rigging. The thrill I get from solving an issue or making a clean functional character setup is hard to describe. It's like putting together a super fun toy!

Concepts I did & a model I'm working on for a friend's game idea. Just finished retopo & UVing all elements. Next up, high-res, textures & rigging. Never rigged a quadruped before... Wish me luck. #gameart #3dart

After much deliberation, I'm going to settle on this guy. I'm aware the season just passed, technically, but... Werewolves are eternal. Going to use him to teach me more complex rigging, blendshapes, and xGen hair.

I'd love to talk to someone who's involved in the class-action suit against Telltale for a story I'm working on. If anyone knows anyone, or can RT this to people who might know anyone, pls lend me a hand!

I'm surprised at how much I've been enjoying scripting my game. I'm not a coder by any stretch but little by little I'm making this thing do what I want it to! When the first episode is done, I will distribute it for free & use it as the basis for a KS campaign, I think.

Wow, it's really easy to add in support for Dyslexic fonts like Open Dyslexia into Ren'Py. My game now supports a font that hopefully helps make it a little more accessible for some!
