Many are scared of the fact that he has big time dirt on them. Scared of each other and the lies they make up. Scared of the women waving the guns. Scared. Now, tell me, is that what you want to lead your state or the country? Use your power to vote.

When one has historically been in a dominant position equality feels like oppression. Anger, resentment, panic all based on fear.

I agree. I’m not sure how you fix angry white men. What the heck are they so angry about.

74 million voted for that. This is a appallingly sick country. The cancer is much more pervasive than we understand. I only realized this in 2016.

...company (ES&S (Election Systems & Software)/potentially voting machine tampering, etc. He/they thought it was enough to push him over-the-edge to win. He/they were astonished. They are desperate & cannot win on their own w/out desperate tactics & will stop at nothing.

Yet, they made their best attempt at it in this election, and failed. Voter suppression & intimidation, kneecapped the USPS, discouraged mail-in voting, tried to intimidate, bribe & threaten state governors, AG’s & elections officials & possibly conspired w/ voting machine...

Because they plan on cheating to win in 2022 - 2024. Haven’t you see the voter suppression laws they are trying to enact across the country?

All of these losses happened within the context of a democratic election. The GOP’s goal is not to win another election; their goal is to overthrow American democracy. By that metric, Trump made a great deal of progress.

My concern is that any jury trial will have a couple of jurists who refuse to convict him on anything. Every trial could be a hung jury

He has gathered up the 'deplorables' in our society. They now have a leader who believes in everything that USED to be, somewhat, hidden in public, in quiet basements, hidden behind hoods.... Hitler also perpetuated a 'big lie'. We are here now.

May their efforts to suppress, only lead to Democrats being more determined, involved, and ultimately winning more elections.

They plan on a more vigorous voting suppression campaign that they think will work better next time, no matter the candidate. Just because it didn't work last time doesn't mean they haven't been diligently scheming to improve their efforts for next time.

It is quite possible that Trump's appearance today at CPAC could be his high point. I can't believe I am quoting Sam Nunberg (from today's NYT by Maggie Haberman) but appearing this soon at CPAC is not a sign of strength for Trump. It may take time, but the knives will come out.

The GOP is placing all of its chips on a man who is one of the most notorious losers in US history, a man who is about to lose again, frequently, in court. A man who is also a racist, misogynist, sex abuser, corrupt, traitor. That's their best bet. That's the one they choose.

Odal Fkkn Nazis make it really inconvenient to be Nordic and blond. The irony is that Nordic people abhor bigotry almost as much as we abhor Nazis.
