People who blame SFPD instead of the DA and Superior Court for allowing drug dealers to roam free in our city and driving the overdose crisis, look here. We gotta find balance. We can't just keep letting them all go. #SanFranciscohttps://twitter.com/SFPDTenderloin/status/1448020777677197314?t=0gPfGeiqpRm5BqpAYui-dg&s=19 …

The DA is huge problem but many wrongly give police a pass.
@chesaboudin isn't to blame for what's allowed to occur at Turk and Hyde. Or for a dozen officers on their phones in UN Plaza.1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -

I can't argue that. But in the end, we have to bridge that mistrust on both sides (public health/DA/ Police) and find a way to work together. That's the answer. Hold everyone accountable.

Exactly. And problem is that no person or institution is being held accountable for a dangerous and violent drug scene in the Tenderloin.

Chesa Boudin 博徹思Verified account @chesaboudinReplying to @chezpim @MattHaneySFFact: approximately 20% of my general felony team's caseload are drug sales. We do prosecute these cases, everyday, for better or worse. As we've learned from the war on drugs after all these decades of failure: this is not a problem we can police or prosecute our way out of.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

25%, however our abysmally failed war on drugs has always been coutner productive driving overdoses, addiction, lawlessness, and violence in our community.
