Did you read the link? It shows property crime and violent crime both going *down* in 2021 vs 2020.

Okay BlueCheck. Why are stores closing? Why did target reduce its hours? Why does the Castro have so many broken windows? Why don't you count the 1,000 Fentanyl deaths as murder? Fentanyl is manufactured by a foreign adversary with a history of being victimized by the UK.

Stores are closing because there’s been an eighteen month pandemic, half the tech people have left the city, downtown is empty of tech companies.

I do not know why the Castro has so many broken windows. I do not even know that they have a particularly unusual number of broken windows. Until very recently I lived about two minutes from the Castro and have not experienced unusual crime.

Please feel free to substantiate your claims that businesses closed down because of unusual crime rather than because of the pandemic.

The narrative about closing stores is not supported when compared to stores closed in other metropolitan areas, which saw more closures.
