I am thankful for how much safer of reform minded DA makes our city.
#StandWithChesa because in a national crime wave your policies have made our city safer. Especially compared to harsher DA's like in Oakland.https://twitter.com/susieneilson/status/1378059503736778753 …Paul added,
Susie NeilsonVerified account @susieneilsonReplying to @susieneilson @socallegaleagl1 @meganrcassidyThe broader point is D.A. policies don't appear to have the same effect on crime rates as bigger events like the pandemic and recession. See our chart on San Francisco vs. Sacramento - in Sac, with a more traditional D.A., assaults increased and murder rates increased more pic.twitter.com/U1yAj1Wbsg1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Its reassuring to see the impact changes leaders from the

Cities that reduced arrests for low level offenses reduced police shootings - and did not see crime increase relative to other cities. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/police-arresting-fewer-people-for-minor-offenses-can-help-reduce-police-shootings/ …1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Yeah the record number of overdoses enabled by drug dealers who are enabled by soft on crime policies are definitely reassuring. Shootings are up, burglaries are up, property theft is up…but hey I’m glad I can be reassured from a few tweets!

Its prohibition not the drugs themselves that us unsafe, where harm reduction, and respect for the impoverished is applied, deaths are rare.

Prohibition is what makes fentanyl and opioids unsafe? It’s not the drug dealers that are allowed to distribute these drugs without much consequence? It isnt the addicts not receiving ample help? It’s prohibition? Lmaooo stop replying to me please. Jesus Christ.

Fentanyl is our societies most effective surgical anesthetic. Its widely produced used and prescribed. Truth is the drug war has always been an excuse to harass poor people, when seeing them has made you uncomfortable.
