Everyone wants reform but when it’s here nobody wants it anymore. Like wtf did we fight for all that time in the 2020 protests!

Point is. No one wants a DA who's "soft on crime". There is moderate middle ground that's MIA

Given that we know kinder DAs produce a safer society, I absolutely thankful my da is sensitive to incarceration, especially during this moment of pandemic.

Samuel SinyangweVerified account @samsweyI analyzed data on fatal and non-fatal police shootings in America’s largest cities. Cities that reduced arrests for low level offenses reduced police shootings - and did not see crime increase relative to other cities. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/police-arresting-fewer-people-for-minor-offenses-can-help-reduce-police-shootings/ …3 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

Your feelings are stupid and weak compared to professional science. Got any data or research or are you more of the illogical fearmongering troll hoping people will emphasize with your fact and stay free fearmongering? See above for my citations and your emotional hysteria.

Shop lifting raised about the same amount as other urban areas in California, imo mostly because previous to this it was insane to be forced to three trikes and felony people for a Snickers bar. Law enforcement became more sane so people called them more often.

I guess I've been focusing on violent crime, I care more about making things safe for people, including epidemiologically in this moment of pandemic than I do about a Snickers bar.https://twitter.com/susieneilson/status/1378059503736778753?s=19 …

Susie NeilsonVerified account @susieneilsonReplying to @susieneilson @socallegaleagl1 @meganrcassidyThe broader point is D.A. policies don't appear to have the same effect on crime rates as bigger events like the pandemic and recession. See our chart on San Francisco vs. Sacramento - in Sac, with a more traditional D.A., assaults increased and murder rates increased more pic.twitter.com/U1yAj1Wbsg1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

How much of that do you think is organized crime? (I'm including traded to dealers for drugs)
