If 2020 was a year of experimentation with a new model of criminal justice in San Francisco, embodied by the city’s district attorney, Chesa Boudin, then 2021 is the year of backlash.http://nyer.cm/Z7PqEgV

Everyone wants reform but when it’s here nobody wants it anymore. Like wtf did we fight for all that time in the 2020 protests!

Point is. No one wants a DA who's "soft on crime". There is moderate middle ground that's MIA

Given that we know kinder DAs produce a safer society, I absolutely thankful my da is sensitive to incarceration, especially during this moment of pandemic.

Your feelings are stupid and weak compared to professional science. Got any data or research or are you more of the illogical fearmongering troll hoping people will emphasize with your fact and stay free fearmongering? See above for my citations and your emotional hysteria.

Shop lifting raised about the same amount as other urban areas in California, imo mostly because previous to this it was insane to be forced to three trikes and felony people for a Snickers bar. Law enforcement became more sane so people called them more often.

But also I dont know how you care so little about other people their lives are worth more than the candy bars we imprisoned them for stealing. California voters agreed, some more petty theft, for some less mass incarceration, and it has nothing to do with da.
