Again you push a false story to push your false agenda. Actually nursing homes were and still are the hot spots. Prisons and jails have had outbreaks but very few severe. Your agenda is to release prisoners as you believe jails are bad. Crime is worse.

Prove that, I cites a professional source namely a legal professional and the NYTimes. Do you have any sources but your feelings showing that jails and prisons are not still the epicenter of the pandemic? Data > Feelings.

According to a report dated on 7/30 san Quentin has 5 active cases as of today. Stop pushing the false narrative of the virus spreading wildly in prisons..it's clear your agenda wants prisons abolished and you'll push any lie.

San Quentin is a model for how poorly mass incarceration in a pandemic can go. "By the end of August, more than 2,230 San Quentin inmates and nearly 280 staff members had become infected with COVID-19;"https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.sacbee.com/news/politics-government/the-state-worker/article249017125.html …

I site issues that we have in our mass incarceration system, our epidemiologists are still emphasizing the existential danger to the public, that holding such an excessive quantity of our constituency brings. It's àbout epidemiological danger to the public not just those inside.

But you show no concern for the victims of crime. The pandemic has also shown getting a vaccine is key. Inmates have access to vaccines and have mostly taken advantage of them. Very few cases of the virus in prisons now. Not an issue.

Our system of prohibition causes the deaths on the street with which you, I and every caring person is concerned. I also know that when harm reduction techniques are allowed deaths are rare. My family members were involved in gangs and became addicted. Through arrests they found help through court mandated rehab to avoid serious jail time.

That isn't how that works, people who get involved in the criminal justice system statistically exacerbate their addictions, and our jails encourage and train lawlessness. Prohibition through the iron law of prohibition always makes things less safe.
