@cyantist , I'm a known and longtime supporter, volunteer, and contributor to@chesaboudin . I hope you might listen to our@SFDAOffice , and@chesaboudin about why these releases are being made. Our da is complying with our scientists medical guidance.https://sfdistrictattorney.org/policy/justice-driven-data/an-epidemic-inside-a-pandemic/ …1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
Our epidemiologists had guided
@chesaboudin that holding no more than 800 people could be done safely in light of this pandemic. Here is a graph of that guidance against our prison population in sf.pic.twitter.com/6yQpQOkqwO

They've since reduced that guidance another 27% or 235 /835 to be released. They now say that holding any more than 600 people in our mass incarceration system would be existentially epidemiologically.dangerous. As a fellow scientist I ask you to stand up for science.pic.twitter.com/NApgO9Azvh

Replying to @commieboudin @cyantist and
Dude You're not a epidemiologist, and that recommendation was recently updated to 600 by Dr Pratt, an actual epidemiologist. The report isn't out of date it was issued in reflection of new guidance and to document what had already occured.
