I'm actually for restorative justice, believe it or not, but restorative justice THAT WORKS and is also rehabilitative. I'm also into justice for the victims. What we have now is a watered-down, bastardized version of RJ that is neither restorative, rehabilitative, nor just.

And now known criminals roaming the streets committing violent crimes that result in the loss of innocent life are a threat to the public too. Reducing prison population shouldn't be done at the expense of public safety. Period. Full stop. There is no argument.
