This chart shows why people have been released and why @chesaboudin has been so reluctant to incarcerate, he's under medical direction to now hold no more than 600 people, down from a previous 800. https://sfdistrictattorney.org/policy/justice-driven-data/an-epidemic-inside-a-pandemic/ …pic.twitter.com/38D5JFcJ5u

This chart does nothing to prove your overall point that somehow this is a safer method for the general public then not releasing them. It's simply saying what has happened

That's what the epidemiologists say, you might not like the medical guidance and frankly me either I think we should be able to gather outside, but our @SF_DPH has directed Chesa to release prisoners.

And they did a horrible job of choosing who should be released as we have dead people as a result of it. And there are people such as yourself who are so gung-ho about incarceration you are willing to overlook violent people killing innocent people

You might think the ends justify the means but at least have the courage to say you no the means will mean the death of innocent people and you are personally okay with that

You keep pretending that incarcerating people in greater percentage than the Nazis or the height of the soviet gulags is moral, healthy and compatible with moral behavior.pic.twitter.com/IOAJ0IZJR2

I'm not pretending anything I'm stating an object fact that people who are known to be violent and dangerous to society are being released some things you admitted

Changing laws so we stopped sending so many people to prison is an entirely different argument then we should not be releasing violent offenders into Society on rehabilitated because we are concerned about them getting sick

And if we completely isolated them not caring about their well-being what would happen? It would be resolved in a manner of a few months...but.... for their safety we released people who frankly pose a danger to society

We cannot isolate these epicenters, our criminally brutal mass incarceration system is too stupid to preform such brilliance.
