If you kept tripping and falling over the same stair in your house and broke your leg every time, would you pat yourself on the back each time you got a cast or would you fix your stairs?

What are you talking about, it's people like you that are saying garbage like, "The broken stair is a historical landmark you can't fix it" We want to fix problems, not tolerate them or being forced to incorporate them into our daily lives. The cause is the debate.

You should try to reflect on what it is that’s got you so angry. If you can articulate it you might be able to process and move on. Life is pretty awesome when you don‘t waste it away in fear and anger.

We’ve been doing this lock em up tough on crime bullshit for decades. How could you have been a victim of crime multiple times if it works so well? Could it be that band-aids don‘t fix broken bones?

Why the refusal to even consider a different approach? Especially if it’s been proven to work? Right now, you’re spending more than you have to and getting pretty bad results when you could be spending the money smarter with much better results.

Oh wow, a single measure didn’t fix the results of decades of fucked up bullshit overnight? Oh well, guess we’ll just go back to the same fucked up bullshit. Maybe it’ll be different this time.pic.twitter.com/zbyMQXw6rS

This was a conversation about drug policy, which has actually been regularly used since the beginning of time, we have a long history of healthy relationships with substances and prohibition isn't what that looks like. Prohibition promotes addiction, violence, and lawlessness.
