If an SF officer is guilty he should be prosecuted. If three gang members commit three murders in SF they should be prosecuted. My problem is when the fed's recognizing that our local police state was especially violent, racist, classist, and murderous responded by requiring us to have even more brutal thuggish political oppression on our streets. Qualified immunity has for too long meant abusive govt.

I agree officers should be charged when guilty, but so should gang members who commit 3 murders in SF. One was a 15-year-old Black teenager, simply taking a walk.

There could not be a more effective example of how misguided our cities approach to crime is than promoting "Nando Madrigal" as a role model for at risk children. He is an excellent example of why something like juvenile hall like intervention is needed.
