Prosecuting low level drug offences is a dysfunctional and counterproductive reaction to drug usage. Promoting higher prices, and leading to increased availability, we must behave intelligently to alter the circumstances of this market , not further promote lawlessness.
Under medical supervision there are no overdoses. Fentanyl is used in operating rooms on the daily. Permit, don't incarcerate dealers, makes the usage inside under medical supervision and off our streets. Purveyors can be held medically and financially responsible.
