Last night on his “town hall” @chesaboudin said that we couldn’t get drug dealers off our streets because we first had to ensure the safety of their families in Honduras. This is madness. Our city is overrun with dealers.

Actually chesa said jail is a ineffective disincentive to someone facing the murder of themselves and their families.

I actually think this needs to be put on the table for discussion. Isn't starting a human trafficking court as Boudin suggested to assist the Honduran families of the dealers first, above the purview of the DA?

Well if given a choice between time spent i a american jail and death of their families, its understandable that they would choose jail time. Without addressing the blackmail scheme we do not really have the proper disincentive structure to reduce the drugs.
