Last night on his “town hall” @chesaboudin said that we couldn’t get drug dealers off our streets because we first had to ensure the safety of their families in Honduras. This is madness. Our city is overrun with dealers.

He did also say that, yes. However, I don't think we have the power to fix what's going on in Honduras, so simply allowing it to affect SF residents doesn't seem like the right answer either
-
It’s logical thinking for a lunatic. He’s dangerous.

What about the hundreds of people killed by drugs sold by dealers in SF alone? We have a right to protect our own. They also have a choice to not sell drugs. It's an excuse to do nothing.

If u go to jail, & can’t pay the Cartel back for smuggling u into the US, & ur family gets killed is a bit of an incentive to not ask the Cartel to smuggle u into the US in the first place.
-
The cartel is structured to handle that and continues to pay their families in event of incarceration. Its why the cartel lords are much more threatening than our american laws or jail.

Since when has being a Honduran citizen or national an automatic death sentence?

-
Actually, I am a little bit confused. The Honduran dug dealers didn't vote our DA in office, the residents of SF did. I am tired of being terrorized by our homeless and drug dealers as a resident of D6.
