What about all the drug dealers in the TL who are killing people daily with their product day after day and destroying the quality of life for the seniors & workers who live there. Can we get some indignation over that?

300 fentanyl deaths last year. People held prisoner in their homes. Innocent people being attacked. You want me to introduce you to some of them? There's your citation.

Those deaths are the result of prohibition not the drugs themselves. When used in medically supervised settings fentanyl is used regularly with safety. When allowed safe injection sites the deaths stop. It's prohibition that's dangerous and killing people not drugs.

That's only partially correct because you are making the assumption about a persons tolerance and addiction to the drug. The mental illness of addiction is unpredictable. Even in a controlled setting. How many people walked out of the SIS in Vancouver and dropped dead outside?

How many were offered community and diverted from substance misuse disorder by the caring paid medical personnel of SIS programs. They act to decrease usage, and sis helps them to engage with and build relationships with the community that needs them most.
