I support @SFyimby ,
But re drugs, our system of prohibition creates incentives to lawlessness that would not exist in a decriminalized or legal system.
I want the sidewalks cleared and the neighborhoods safe, I however think prohibition not the drugs create lawlessness.

Decades of experience with the racially begun drug war prove you wrong, We started the drug war shortcitedly, and for the wrong reasons and prohibition has backfired badly. Its prohibition not the drugs that cause the violence and lawlessness on our streets.pic.twitter.com/ugKSttxggx

San Francisco has been experimenting with de-facto decrimilization by refusing to enforce the laws, and the results have been disasterous. If we want to legalize it, we should legalize it, as we did for pot, and set out boundaries. Letting people do whatever they want is not it.

Its the police in this town, whose excessive and cruel brutality has pushed all of the people of color in to only these neighborhoods. The solution is not more cruel brutal oppressive racially biased policing.pic.twitter.com/QoCT2HMgsw

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. I know the results of the drug war, and I know it wasn't always like this, it's better without prohibition. People are more law abiding, and more of them are off the streets.
