I don’t see why they don’t do the right thing. No one who could afford an iPad would be caught dead using one of the older ones with all that planned obsolescence baked into every iOS update. The only reason I ever buy a new one is because the old one becomes painfully slow.

I send thousands of old ones to other countries where slow is better than nothing. Or they end up in one of my art exhibits :-)
