    You should feel about electronic election security the same way you should feel about sending an electronic message to china in 1 nanosecond. Sure. Maybe we could do it, but it is not worth the effort to attempt so at the moment.

    You know. I don't think software engineers should be terribly defensive about election security. It isn't as if there aren't many other things to code out there. This is just a problem where security and and accuracy are as important as possible, on a large scale.
