Holy mother of god. I've done it. I have actually managed to find the worst tweet I've ever seen. I am actually shocked by what she said here.

"My dad hung himself when I was 19."
"Yeah, yeah, your rough-and-tumble childhood doesn't excuse your white privilege."
Shannon Watts is a vile monster.

When I hear the word "offensive," this is what I think about. Not an off color joke or some stereotypical accent. I think of acts of interpersonal behavior that are so utterly repugnant that they make you mad even if they have nothing to do with you.

I saw that and thought it was just a random a-hole. But she's a blue checkmark as in she's someone we're supposed to know from teevee? I could google, but I think I'll just leave the internet for the night.

It’s amazing you were even able to see it at all, tbh
I would have figured she had you blocked already

I'm glad Shannon blocked me so that I didn't have to see that. I had half her tragedy, lost my father at 18, can't imagine losing both. For retweeting it, I do hate you a bit. What a horrendous inability to overcome identity politics.

I could've guessed her response to specific life events. It always...ALWAYS...comes back to skin color. No matter what. They do not care if a white person has had a tough life.
