Day one at my kid’s school in SF. Sick kid exposed classmates for hours. No one is being asked to quarantine. We don’t have any ventilation upgrades and our principal laughed this question off.

Had the given a flying f@ck about our kids, we would have kept the screening processes in place and perhaps caught this child on their way into class before they could unknowingly expose vulnerable kids. I’m disgusted.

Apparently, there potentially might be kids asked to quarantine. No information is being given to parents as to which class this was in. Per guidelines, the class doesn’t need to notified. So great.

We went through this in our house. First 2 days back, last spring, kid was exposed and told to quarantine
temps were being checked back then
sucked cause all extracurricular had to stop too!
hopefully the kids were all wearing masks, i assume too young for vax

Yes, this is an elementary school. But this delta variant is a whole new beast.
