If the #Olympics were a bit geekier, they would measure aerial acrobatics in Radians. Every half-rotation is Pi Radians, making it easier to track and say how many rotations were executed. You're just counting Pi’s.

Why use a metric measuring half a rotation instead of one using one that goes a full rotation. Why not Tau that shit?

Hard enough warming people to Pi. Now you want to Tau them?

In engineering, Pi is now practical. Is it worth having both? Or will that just be confusing?

On further reflection, gotta stick with Pi on this one, making all rotations whole number Pi’s. With Tau, you’ll get needless fractions.

To be fair, you'll still get fractions with Pi on slopestyle events where they do 3/2s and 5/2s to get on and off rails sideways. Guess that just goes to show that no irrational number is perfect.

        I meant 3/2 Pis :p but 3/2 rotations would be 3 Pis

Lets make a deal: if you Americans switch from imperial units to metric like the rest of the world, we use Pi Radians at the next #Olympics.

To Celsius and meters! I would not be surprised if republicans take it up as an attack on US' founding fathers and some Nth amendment.

We were going to be metric. Then the guy with the prototype kilogram got nabbed by pirates and died in captivity.
