Wouldn't it be better if you watched this film before making any opinion?
-
Isn't that shortsighed?
-
You're not going to convince me to like something I do not like. #ConsumerRejection There are reports that even animals don't want gmo's given the choice. LOL No GMO's for me. Enjoy!pic.twitter.com/nUyERcLBru -
They explain genetics to animals and ask if they like it? LOL source?
-
it genetically alters/mutates the food and renders it less nutritious. that is fact.
-
They literally alter the food to make it MORE nutritious. That's the entire point

Pro or con the use of GMOs, there is no defensible argument against LABELING.
-
False. Labelling suggests there is something wrong with GMO. It's disingenuous at best.
-
So labeling grams of protein suggest there is something wrong with protein? Wrong agenda. It’s government’s job to insist the public is informed. Not to hide info to help industry. It’s up to the public whether they WANT to eat it or not.
-
Apples and oranges. The FDA, and plenty of independent sources find no significant difference between GMO and natural/organic. Labelling suggests there is a significant difference. It's fear based demand by scientifically uniformed when there is nothing to fear.
-
Disagree, even if there are no long-term effects of GMO's on health or ecosystems, which I highly doubt, I still want to be able to identify who and how my products are made. I can only be a responsible customer if I have all information. Labelling supports this.
-
Do you want to know all the ways they are produced or just if they are gm?
-
I want to know if my veggetables have been cursed at. I’m worried they will be stressed and full of stress toxins. Vegetables are very sensitive and can get their feelings hurt!
-
I want to know which corporations profit when I buy stuff. GMO does not resolve the bigger issues of soil depletion, monopolization and exploitation of the industry, etc. It's a quick fix to increase yields, and does not take sustainable solutions into account.

I don’t even like the sound of it ‘genetically engineered food’
#motherearth -
That's a logical fallacy.
-
Relax. I just don’t like the sound of it. That’s it. Nothing serious. But it is a fallacy and I agree with you. Doesn’t mean I am wrong, right?
-
It goes to show how marketing and scare tactics can be more effective then sound legitimate science, which is terrifying.
