How do we talk to each other when there are no shared facts? We live in polarized information tribes.
-
It's impossible to share facts with those that openly dismiss them because they do not conform to their biases.
-
Not impossible. People tend to close off any chance for discussion if ideas are delivered in condescending or angry tones, or if they feel unheard. Be friendly, sincerely listen, and use the Socratic method.

-
Agreed. I make an effort to have dialogue with those different from me.
-
The key is CIVIL dialogue. We can’t disagree and treat each other with dignity and respect. The rhetoric and disdain used when talking with the opposing side in our country is disgraceful and not conducive for unity!
