You might enjoy reading the science fiction novel MISSION OF GRAVITY, by Hal Clement, which takes place on a planet spinning like that.

Thanks!

Or there’s another book called The Ascent of Gravity by Marcus Chown that’s a good read — nonfiction but written in an engaging way

That is awesome of you btw. One of the things I loved about Cosmos and Star Talk is how you explain things to folks without talking down to ppl. You have made science more fun and understandable for a lay person like me. Thanks to you for being you

A great trick of Albert Einstein..I think. Your not an "expert" until u can explain the MOST complex theory 2 laymen or even a child.

I love him and Bill Nye also. I love science especially space and the study of evolution but I'm not exactly the most educated person lol. So anyone who can explain things to me in a way I can understand is great in my book

You seem very intelligent! Not to mention that your curiosity is what makes you even more unique. Many live their lives without entertaining deep thoughts, let alone seeking insight, answers, wisdom and help in general. Yearning to be taught and seeking truth shows intelligence

Thank you. I dropped out of school for mental health reasons but got a GED and have tried to continue to educate myself

That's awesome! Keep on growing, I believe in you!

I recall an incident when a man in the aisle aboard a 747 foolishly jumped into the air to put something in the overhead. The jet was traveling over 600 mph and the man immediately flew backwards to the end of the aisle and was crushed. Why aren’t flyers warned of such dangers?
-
You recalled a dream
-
No, a friend of my cousin’s college roommates sister’s hairdresser was there!

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story and that's a good story.
-
Or science. Never let science get in the way of an already entrenched belief system.
-
Absolutely! Science has never proved anything!
