Anything that gets the public to look up is a win in my book

-
YES!! It's a fun and unifying event, even if it's misnamed. I hated all the people who poo-poo'd the eclipse, too.
-
Like Neil?
-
It peeved me, indeed.
-
Neil was anti-Totality??! I find that hard to believe!?!
-
Not necessarily anti-eclipse, but...https://www.reddit.com/r/iamverysmart/comments/6viadz/only_common_people_get_excited_for_things_like/ …

Sunrises and sunsets happen every single day EVERYWHERE and yet it is still special and exciting to catch a good one. I drove all night, 600+ miles each way, to get to the Path of Totality, and avoid cloudy areas. If lucky I might catch one again in my lifetime.

That's a gorgeous picture. All that driving must have paid off!

I think "Marginally More Moon" is a more fitting title. since people like more catchy titles, calling it a "triple M" might also work
-
If the stock market went up 14% and got 30% brighter, it would not be a marginal change!
-
Yes, but the Bachelor keeps saying this episode will have the most dramatic rose ceremony ever. Yes it is good, but really just seems like all the others Not worth all the hype, but still enjoyable distraction on a Monday night
