I'm an undergrad physics student. Read this book. I understand why things tend to be spherical. However, I never imagined it could be explained in such a simple manner, before I saw you do it. Cheers Neil, you're an inspiration.

You’re great! The word “conspire” is such nice poetry in this context, but also implies agency (and I imagine you might be sensitive to propagating that feeling on future consideration). In any case, I’m thankful for you and your voice!

This book falls under the categories of "highly recommended" and "makes your IQ feel 5 points higher just because you read it." Seriously, though, fantastic for a liberal arts person like me who has a deep interest but surface-level understanding of astrophysics.

As a science teacher, I am so grateful you make science more accessible to all. Many adults say they're not "a science person" but they'd never say they're not "an English person." Our kids absorb this. We have a culture problem more than a thinking problem.

I was initially suspect of the title of this book, then I remembered that I recently bought a book on thermodynamics for a 15 month old baby. She loves it! I'm going back for the quantum physics book.pic.twitter.com/TUPIk55tFB

Also in the series, Baby Loves Quarks... and coming soon, Gravity!pic.twitter.com/LAjzdpOXCU

Thank you Ruth! My granddaughter loves your Thermo-dynamics book. I think we'll have an outing to the bookstore tomorrow & browse your quantum physics & quark books. It's wonderful that you've written science books for very young children. Who knew?

So happy to hear your granddaughter is enjoying my books! Here's a little background on how they came to be:http://bit.ly/2xJODpM
