I know we're on metric for liquor, but I still call a 750ml bottle a fifth. Is there a metric name for it?

We've been metric for well over a century. TVs, screens, bikes, lumber still all sold in inches. And beer often in pints in pubs. /Sweden

While in France I had to figure out how to order a pint. I'm sure ordering "Cinquante centelitres" made me sound quite the tourist.

To be fair, I was the only one in our trio who know what "50cl" meant when I saw it on the menu. That's half the battle, I guess :)
