@neiltyson Gee, I also recall President Obama's election. Kinda "positive" too. Recall exactly where I was. Not everyone is a geek. - 1 more reply

@neiltyson Completely disagree. How about "America elects first black president"? Politics aside, it's a pretty positive step for society. - 1 more reply

@neiltyson inauguration of/victory of Barack Obama for the 2008 presidency? -
@dorkasaurus_rex you mean dictator Obama who has taken more of your freedoms then bush? -
@blindpossum30 i agree Obama has not had the best human rights record but calling him a dictator is a bit of a stretch -
@dorkasaurus_rex most of the scary acts and bills Obama signs are when no one is paying attention like the#ndaa on new years eve! -
@blindpossum30 i have read both and if you did your homework you'd know they were a mundane re-stating of what has been law for a long time -
@dorkasaurus_rex but I guess civilian inmate labour camps are nothing -
@blindpossum30 and while i agree the NDAA is bad, it's more complex than maybe you think http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/ndaa.asp … -
@dorkasaurus_rex a man that sacrifices his freedoms for his safety deserve nether!#benfranklin
