Science is always true. Scientists, not so much.
-
Until proven wrong by newer science!

-
The process is what's most important

-
Truth is a non-sequitur. Science is testing hypotheses for reliability and validity through observation. Observations are qualified with limitations of the method of observation. The fewer the qualifications, and greater the repeatability of observations the greater the veracity
-
Truth is a rational logical interpretation of real facts. The opposite of non-sequitur. Science is fact and a rational logical interpretation of it. In principle, genuine science and truth are indistinguishable.
-
Connected but distinct. Genuine science is a process, truth is an outcome. Science is used inaccurately in public discourse. Understanding scientific method reduces the "not all scientists agree" argument; saying science IS truth preaches to the converted rather than converting
-
Science is an abstract term referring to observation, experiment, facts and a rational logical interpretation of them. Science is not the scientist. Acknowledging science is truth is not preaching to the converted either. There is neither preaching, nor converting in science.

@neiltyson IS Batman. How did you not know that?! Have you been living under a rock? Or in some sort of huge homemade jar or something? -
