        Aren't all Americans immigrants?

Uh no. There were native people's here before the arrival of europeans. And many Africans did not immigrate here, they were forcibly brought here. So no, we are not all descended from immigrants.

First peoples are not considered immigrants. Also, enslaved people didn't come here, they were brought here. Words matter.

1 from Venezuela, 1 from Mexico, none from Central America. Almost all from Europe, mostly Germany (17). 2 from South Africa, 1 from Egypt, 6 for China, 1 Korea, 4 Japan, Israel 4, India 3. 10 from Canada and 10 from the UK.

Go back in time and ask your ancestors how they felt about European immigrants in 1890, like my german ones. It was every bit the vitriol and bigotry.

So many replies about the legal status of the winners. That's irrelevant, because the current US administration wants to limit and reduce legal immigration as well, especially by refugees.

Hi Neil, unless those other recipients were Native American, everyone of them was an immigrant.

I’d say someone please shoot this man to outer space to see how idiotic his flat earth theory is, but that would be a waste of fuel. He would come back swearing NASA had somehow created a massive projector to show a globe and trick him.
