Man that’s a shame. Especially on iPad where long press is a super overloaded gesture, 3D Touch would really alleviate that

but with pressure sensitivity in the pencil, they really could have used the pencil as a way to enable 3D touch on the ipad the whole time. maybe we'll see more things like the pencil 2's double-tap in the future

I don’t think that requiring an optional external accessory for a system-wide UI interaction would be ideal. Imagine if the only way to get right-click on a MacBook Pro were to use an external mouse with two buttons.

i agree with you, i’m just saying that it very easily could have been implemented this way the whole time
