This one of those where I didn't actually know all this so it was surprising to me that half of fossil fuel emissions since the industrial revolution are since 1990!
Damn near 40% and I'm only just able to vote.
And the trend doesn't seem to slow down. We are all f***ed if we won't do anything.
Compared with the growing need for cement for infrastructure & it's productions emissions ??
And this is a quite good thing: "CO₂ is the gas of life, feeding every green plant, producing food for every animal and in the process releasing oxygen"
The world population has tripled in my lifetime. I don't worry about the number (we have enough to provide and growth is stabilizing), but I know that anything this drastic and rapid is going to have #UnintendedConsequences
No space for wildlife in many places, guess Canada has less of a problem with that but human population is driving mass extinction.
