    New: leaked documents, data, contracts show how hugely popular antivirus Avast now harvests internet browsing data and sells it for millions of dollars. Clients included Home Depot, Google, Microsoft. Documents show a product called "All Clicks Feed"

    Thanks for highlighting some of the work done. Data Literacy is such a real need and it is beautiful to see some of the creativity unleashed by participants. Hope to write more on such experiments :)

    The more you work n teach with different audiences and listen to their struggles with the the tools especially in Data. The more you realise that software companies are still very slow to solve the customers problems. I already have a 6 page list of problems with specific tools.

    I do a lot of practical exercises and data games with participants in workshops. The only problem is that a lot of it cannot be shared due to it being proprietary or client data. But some I can :) Check out this homework exercise.

    My father was a fighter pilot. My grandfather was a airline pilot. All i got from them was the saying "if it ain't your ass, let it rub against the thorny bush". Ok maybe there are a few more. Let me collect them to start a Twitter thread. 💡💬

    TIL "push the envelope" comes from pilots testing the limits of the flyable portion of the atmosphere "enveloping" earth. Crazy to think that such a day-to-day term now is actually rooted in people risking their life to do something new. How often do we _truly_ push the envelope?
