When Beowulf was being shot, I read newspaper stories that said she had walked off set and wouldn't come back because while shooting a scene with Anthony Hopkins he had asked a Brad Pitt question that was off limits. I'd always assumed until then that news was based on something
Except, having co-written Beowulf, I knew she wasn't due on set to start work for another 3 weeks & she wasn't actually in any scenes with Anthony Hopkins. She was famous enough that people were simply making up stories and printing them as facts. That "no smoke without fire"2/3

...simply didn't apply where she was concerned. I can't imagine what that must have been like for her. (I thought she was smart and sensible and articulate when I encountered her on set and later promoting the film.)
