Fantastic news! The Animal Welfare (Sentencing) Act is now law. Finally, the worst animal abusers will be met with a prison sentence of up to 5 years- a measure I have been calling for since 2016. Well done + to everyone who made this possible🐶

Cutting aid for water projects & family planning in the world's poorest nations is the wrong approach for Global Britain. We must investigate where savings can be made, but we cannot cut vital lifesaving projects. We must reinstate the 0.7% spend on aid, as I called for in March:

I spoke in Parliament on the importance of British meat and dairy products. I argued that we should look to cut methane in meat and dairy production 🐄 whilst being cautious on importing substitutes which damage the environment, such as soya beans grown on deforested land.🌲🌲🌲

Dog theft is on the rise. Not only does it cause great harm + distress to animals but robs families of their much loved pets. The new is greatly welcome but we need stronger punishments to tackle this vile crime🐶. My question to this morning⬇️
