    Put up signs saying "it's OK to be brown" or ignore these ones. And if someone is saying something like this, agree with them. They're correct. And see where the conversation goes from there. If it goes to somewhere racist, now we're on firm ground & you can combat their ideas.

    Yes, I know this is a dogwhistle but I think this reaction gives these people too much power. They surely rely on the knowledge that people will be triggered by a phrase which is, in itself, inoffensive. That makes us look petty & stupid & feeds their victimhood complex. 1/a few

    1/6 The BME Network is horrified to see that posters have been put up all over campus that say "it's okay to be white". This phrase seems innocent on the surface, but in reality, it is a popular dogwhistle among white supremacists.
