    This is useful for a few reasons: not having to email photos to yourself to get them onto your camera roll, being able to write an Instagram post at one time of day and press send at another, but most importantly, not having to have work stuff on your own phone. 👍

    Did you know you can post to Instagram not just from mobile devices but from a DESKTOP AND OR LAPTOP? All you need is a mouse and the F5 key (plus you can do the F5 part with the mouse anyway so you don't even really need that).

    Strong agree here. I think a lot of us collared the head to request that it not be possible for the vote to end in mainly white men... he was probably already thinking along those lines but really glad it’s actually worked out that way!

    Finding out that The Crown is ending after a mere 5 seasons (instead of ultimately catching up with the present so we can see e.g. Anthony Hopkins as Prince Philip actually *watching* The Crown season 1 and complaining about it), is the second worst thing about today.

    Imelda Staunton will play Queen Elizabeth II in the fifth and final season of The Crown.

    I’d add, that you don’t even really need to learn how to take good photos. You just need to take non-shite photos of interesting things. Photos of words, quotes, photos of displays - not interesting enough. Photos of spaces, details, book face stuff - great.

    I talk about this a lot in workshops and often the public libs in attendance just aren’t allowed to do Instagram. In the past they weren’t allowed to do Twitter, and before that Facebook. Decision makers catch up eventually (normally 3 or 4 years later than necessary.)

    (3) public libraries need to get on to instagram as soon as possible and learn how to take good photos / hashtag tons of relevant people when we are on. And If we dare to use the exact same post on Twitter AND Facebook then we should be shot.

    My wife and I never carry our kids. She marches them up to the top of the hill. I march them down again. My daughter is 6 and has already arranged work experience with the Grand Old Duke of York.

    My wife and I never baby talk to our kids. We use full sentences and a wide vocabulary including complex words. My son is 3 and can carry a full conversation. Adults at family gatherings are shocked at his social aptitude. My daughter isn’t even 2 and she uses 4-syllable words.

    G is borrowing a 1/8 size cello but it needs repairing so she’s got a 1/4 size temporarily and it’s so much bigger than her that she can really only carry it at a trot (By rights the cello should be carrying her)

    Me and are fettling our proposal so hard right now. If you're in two minds as to whether to submit a proposal, my advice would be: if you've got the capacity go for it! It's a fun conference to present at.

    You have just over a week left to submit your paper proposal for the next in Newcastle this June. If you have conducted user experience research and design and have findings or insights to share, why not do so with our community:
