So apparently Apple removed the "object autoreleased with no pool in place" error message. That's 3 days I'll never get back.

@uliwitness Not removed, but disabled by default. Set OBJC_DEBUG_MISSING_POOLS=YES to get it back. (Set OBJC_HELP=YES for more options.)

@uliwitness Top-level autoreleasepools in main() are also an unnecessary quit-time slowdown, since killing the process will free memory.
