Joe Biden Retweeted House Foreign Affairs Committee

We can’t allow the Good Friday Agreement that brought peace to Northern Ireland to become a casualty of Brexit. Any trade deal between the U.S. and U.K. must be contingent upon respect for the Agreement and preventing the return of a hard border. Period.https://twitter.com/HouseForeign/status/1305935896630493184 …

Hey @joebiden would you like to discuss the Good Friday agreement? It is also called the Belfast Agreement so it doesn't offend both traditions. Did you actually know that? I was born in NI and I'm a Catholic and a Unionist. Here if you need help.

How is Good Friday offensive? Am I meant to call it something different as a Protestant? Daft. You know what’s offensive tho? Breaking international law.

I don’t understand why this announcement is a surprise to the PM and government. Pelosi told the UK last year, pre Brexit, that compromising the GFA means no US/UK trade deals. “No chance of US-UK deal if Northern Ireland peace at risk” – Pelosihttps://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/aug/14/no-chance-of-us-uk-deal-if-northern-ireland-peace-at-risk-pelosi …

You don't seem to have noticed that Good Friday is a public holiday throughout the UK. It has been for centuries. Could've guessed you're a Brexshitter.

According the WA, the EU was meant to negotiate in good faith. It hasn't done that and is in breach of international law. Hope you've raised the matter of how offended you are by this with the EU. You could also mention the other occasions they've breached Int. Law at same time.
